I'm entertaining offers on the original paintings. I'm going to World Fantasy Convention in November. Any funds I earn from my art are going to pay for this trip. (This is a once-in-a-lifetime trip for me, so I am hoping I squirrel away enough to not only attend, but to also have some spending money while I'm in Toronto!)

Well, I am pleased.

It met up to expectations when translated... and I am looking forward to watching it streamed via funimation.... I am interested to see how the translations differ.

That Funi got the good idea to do translations quickly is a good step towards getting good anime more popular around the globe. (And, thank god, it isn't 4kids. I would HATE to see what 4Kids would do to FMA... the pain of what happened to One Piece still haunts me to this day.)

I am a happy camper.

Need 2 Lrn better japanese. Now I deseperately want a subbed version.

*pathetic cry*

... I may be a Fullmetal Alchemist fan. I may also be a purist when it comes to cannon. While I appreciate the concept of the occasional filler, I don't like a series of almost entirely non-cannon. (Which, the original FMA anime counts as.)

So, the idea that a more pure cannon anime of FMA is truly exciting.

YAY.

Talk about inactivity. I think I was last active in what, 2004?

Is there a point in doing a mass update of my life for the past, I don't know, five years?

To be brief...

I got a little addicted to several manga. And anime. These include Fullmetal Alchemist, One Piece, History's Strongest and Fairy Tale. FMA is my current love-affair, although Luffy is fairly high up on the list.

What can I say? I like long-lived manga / anime.

In addition to this, my husband and I bought a condo, and we now have two cats.

That about wraps up life, the universe, and everything else.

Maybe I'll remember to do more art and more updates... maybe. (I have a horrible enough track record I am not even going to begin to make any form of commitment.... )
